Krista Wilder, Dental Hygienist
A native of Plainfield, IL Krista attended Prairie State College. Today, she is a licensed registered dental hygienist and community dental health coordinator. She holds certifications in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Krista started with Grand Dental in March 2022 and serves patients in Naperville.
Outside of the office, Krista has many hobbies, including rollerblading, going to sporting events running, reading, and traveling. Her favorite sports are hockey and baseball. She enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and trying new food. An interesting fact about Krista: her family is Polish, and her grandparents owned two Polish delicatessens in Chicago.
Cathy Zych, Dental Hygienist
Cathy is a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist at Grand Dental Naperville, where she has been working since 2022. With over a decade of experience in the dental field, Cathy holds a dental hygiene license specializing in the delivery of local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, sealants, and laser treatments. She believes in working together with a shared responsibility to treat patients at Grand Dental with the respect they deserve. The team at Grand Dental prioritizes dignity and compassion in their care for each other and their patients. Cathy looks forward to seeing patients and their families in a relaxed, professional environment. She enjoys working with state-of-the-art technology and a strong team to provide and improve healthy, beautiful smiles. Outside of work, Cathy loves spending time with her close family, friends, and coworkers. She enjoys traveling, helping others, and working hard. Rollerblading, swimming, and walking bring her peace in her spare time.
Maritza Fernandez, Team Lead
Maritza first joined our team as a dental assistant. Over the last 12+ years, she has expanded her knowledge of pediatrics, orthodontics, and general dentistry in addition to the front desk side of things. Now, she is proud to combine everything she knows to serve our patients as our office manager! She loves her job because it means she gets to interact with our incredible patients each day.
Maritza has a blended family, and her parents live just three houses away, so she spends lots of her free time on the evenings and weekends with her loved ones. She also loves going to see plays any chance she can (her favorite so far is Wicked). Here’s something you might not know about her: she has a collection of limited-edition Barbies!
